Laws vary from state-to-state, and in Arizona, the child safety seat laws are strictly enforced by the local police departments and Highway Patrol. At Gold Starr Transport we support the strongest safety standard by insisting that small children be secured in an appropriate child restraint seat for transportation. Although we at Gold Starr Transport do not carry child restraint seats as a matter of course, they are available by arrangement in advance and incur an additional use charge of $10 per child seat per journey. We use high quality child restraint seats which must be cleaned and sanitized after each use. If we arrive at a location and find that there is a small child with no child restraint seat available, a cancellation fee will be due.
we are pet friendly at Gold Starr Transport. We prefer that your small animal is in a pet carrier, and we accept pets up to 25 lbs. There is an additional charge of $10 per animal for transporting pets. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, we also accept service animals where there is verifiable documented proof that the animal is indeed a trained service animal, and there is no charge for this service. Comfort animals are not included as service animals, even if they are wearing a vest or badge saying that they are a service animal. Official verifiable documentation is required. Unfortunately, plans sometimes change and you have to change your Schedules. We get it. But we have to plan ahead too, so for regular sedan and SUV reservations, we require 24 hours-notice of cancellation for advanced bookings, failing which the full fare will be charged. Advance payment may be required for any of the rides described in this section. For larger capacity vehicles, which are considered by us to be specialty vehicles, the notice of cancellation period is 72 hours. During busier times of the year, we may adjust these cancellation periods, and we will let you know in advance or at the time of your booking if this applies to you and what the adjustment shall be. These periods shall include, though not be limited to, high-traffic travel events and special events, proms, and holidays, and depending on when the booking is made may carry a non-cancellation no-refund policy. No-shows will always result in a full forfeiture of the charges either already paid or to be charged.
